The game is jeopardized by a number of functions that are not working, like the automatic sails!
As the regatta is promising a prize of E 2000, and more tablets, the gamers are really upset ....
And of course, worried with the more than 1 billion guests that are playing the game ...

I've suffered 2 major glitches and 1 minor glitch this race. The first major glitch occured coming into mark 3 I had a series of 4 waypoints set to get around the island. The first 2 deleted themselves 15 minutes out causing my boat to point at waypoint 3 which was on the back of the island. Thankfully I caught it before I hit the beach, but I lost time having to tack and then manually round the island. The second major glitch happened in the final gybe which VR refused to accept. For 20 minutes I tried to tell my boat to gybe. Dashboard confirmed the command was sent, but at the 10 minute updates my boat did not turn. I finally managed to force the gybe by setting a waypoint. The minor glitch occured when I hit one of the islands, but the edge of the island was incorrectly displayed. The point that I hit is clearly in the water and about 5 pixels away from the white.

Coastline issues have always been a thing and so I can forgive that. When you push close sometimes you hit things. But waypoints deleting themselves and commands being ignored is unacceptable in a game that is over 10 years old and is frankly not that cheap to play.

I feel you on the magically disappearing waypoints. On the first mark at Kaliningrad I had a wp set for my turning point. About 40 mins before reaching the mark I set another with my exit bearing, checked everything and went down for a nap.

It appears that the game decided to go straight for the second new mark. Fortunately, teammates called and alerted me, but it was still a loss of about 5nm before I could correct it.

I checked everything in dashboard. All commands confirmed correctly. WP1 was still there, the game just decided to skip it.

I think we are all pretty frustrated that these bugs remain unfixed and they seem to be only putting resources into the meaningless graphics.

BooBill, I had exacyly the same issue at buoy 1: WP1 ignored amd the boat went directly to WP 2 missing therefore the buoy. I was 32nd and found myself after the correction in 260th place.
Customer service is frustrating, useless and irritant. We cannot accept these bugs when we pay to play and compete for prizes.
The only solution would be to all declare a 2 to 3 months strike and avoid playing

Yes it's really frustrating. Several new bugs arrived with the 'integer heading/TWA' update. And they don't even get the graphics right, not even mouse event handling. I know I won't stop playing completely, but I don't pay for the smaller/lesser races anymore.

It's a good thing that there is They had a couple of bugs to sort out and they've currently halted the beta test phase, but I think they're on a good way. I'm certainly keeping an eye on them.

My massage to VRO on Report A Bug:
There are to many bugs to mention!! The game has become worser and worser last years. And the organisation VRO and his ‘service’ is unbelieveble bad. Any other organition would have been bankrut, especially with the money you have to pay for this ‘product’ . I don’t think it will be much better next months or years unless with a new owner/manager. Many players now are looking for better ways to play their hobbygame, f.i. RealSail and SailOnline. So, VRO will not last a very long time anymore. And I am very glad about that!!

Yes, I have locked TWA and waypoint issues (Nord #1) going aground twice before mark 2 when route was clear.

Locked TWA on all races as set and return to find varying by one to a few degrees from that set.
