Hi Svetan,
You and your friends always do an exceptional job, and always very responsive.
I recently discovered the NMEA functionality, and it's funny to project my virtual boat into the navigation programs I use on my real board (although I don't see the practical use of it).
But this development is depreciated by the fact that VR no longer regularly updates the position, even if you refresh it (logically always the same one) every second. In fact, we have to stay in front of the PC to manually do this update (blue button at the top right of the VR UI).

My question is this one: How do I make a request to the VR UI to simulate the click on this button, say every 5 minutes?
If I manage in classic programming, I'm a dummy at WEB programming!

Thanks in advance,
Patrick, Mataf35400

it's easy,
with VIP account the blue button is out and update are made each 5 minutes

Is that true ? I don't see it advertised in the VIP register page

I think it can be done, by injecting a script into the VR page that grabs authentication data and triggers a getboatinfo request every 5 minutes.

I advise against it. It would probably rightly be considered an attack.

VRDashboard contents itself with reading the data that the server sends to the client.

Seconded. Everything can be done via extension or MITM proxy, but we are not going there.

Thanks everybody for your answers.
Never mind, it was just to animate my OpenCpn !

Good continuation, and, if you're offshore, "good wind" (I don't know if that expression has sense in english !!)
