hi, I'm wondering what is the difference between the two extensions for chrome, called "route zezo.org" in addition to the VR dashboard, the one for multirace and the one for the mono race ?

by the way, cvetan, you're doing such a great job.

cheers/merci
;-)

The name says it all.

The multi races addon will allow you to have several zezo tabs opened, and showing you the routing details for the currently active tab.
That mean it will only work with a zezo tab being active.

The single race addon allows only one race, meaning that it will only display the array for the last zezo routing tab opened.
Once the details loaded, you can navigate to another tab, and still be able to access/display the details array.

BTW, those two addons are not from Cvetan. GeGaX built them !

thanks for the explanation, the name might say it all, I still prefer when you explain
;-)

though, i don't get the advantage you get from the mono race extension, as it seems for me that it does give the same informaton as the multi one.
it might be because, as english is not my native language, i don't take all the subtlety of the thing.

but i do thank you for your answer.
;-)

i know the extension doesn't come from cvetan, but as i don't post here very often, i just took the opportunity to thank him for what he's doing for the virtual nautic world.

thanx again.

As I said later to GeGaX himself, the best you can do to figure out the diff between both extensions is to test them, because it's quite hard to explain actually...

Also, I tried an short explaination in my help section here :

Hi jadanton and Toxcct ;)
I "advise against" the MonoRace version if you are not methodical ...
It keeps in cache the extraction of what proposes the router (which allows a display when you are on the interface VR) and if you are on several races you are not safe from an error.
You have to think about refreshing the page of the router.

Something that does not exist with the MultiRaces version, you click and get your board without worrying about methodology.

I keep the support of the MonoRace version because I was asked (for the display on the VR interface) but personally I never use it

PS: Thanks Toxcct for responding;)

Hi GeGaX,

nevermind for the answer, I was there, I replied :)

Regarding the difference between the 2 extensions, it's quite hard to explain.
The better is still to try them.

For what I need, I only use the MonoRace extension, so be blessed for keeping its support, but like you said, one has to be very careful to handle one race at a time, otherwise, bad routing for the wrong race :)

Well I have both installed and use mono when not on the zezo tab or multi to look at a different race or perhaps an old route tab - this was handy when VR got stuck on the old wind :-)
