Are the polars for the sails (both standard and pro versions) available? It seems as though they are not included in the compass rose as I have seen in previous versions of the VORG.

Polars for the VR games are usually available at

I compared the polars with charts, and it looks like there is different sail information in some black dot infoboxes of the VOR charts. It says LG instead of HG. A mixup on the polars page?

You have a point, but it looks like VR have messed the sail names.

The French version says Petit/Grand where the English says Light/Heavy. I'm not native speaker, so correct me if I'm wrong but to me Heavy sail would mean strong wind = small sail = petit.

Anyway, I've switched the sail names.

Speaking about sails and polars, when polars overlap the router does not always have the same idea about best sail as the game itself.

It does not matter which sail is in use, but using the Auto Sail could bring you unexpected penalty for a sail change.

I still think the polars that you are using are different from the polars that VR is using. I made an observation with the boat fixed in Alicante. But I can change the heading and currently I only have 4.5 knots of wind. But your results show another sdail as the best one and the boat speed is higher than VR is giving me. So the routing wont apply either.
I do not see where VR is showing the polars that they use.

I had fixed only the prologue, not the main race itself. Should be ok now.

I don't check the sail names myself too often, just leave it on auto, unless the conditions are tricky and on the border of sail change.
