I made a mistake in my boat setup. I chose a boat color while I watched it. You know if there is any way to go back. I'm going to lose 2999 credits. The regatta has not started yet. Clipper 8. Thank you very much

Not sure if they'll help with this particular situation or not, but that's your only option. There's no way to reverse a purchase from the user's end.

Uh oh! I really fouled up - tried to purchase the equivalent of "full pack" with my credits. Got all the goodies except the most important - unlimited cards.

Have sent request at the link provided in this topic. From other comments, guessing I am out of luck.

Will hope but if they give me the "Sorry, the computers says we can't do it" my choice is to dump VR or buy into a new boat name and start over?

Welcome to the club! That seems to be the VR marketing strategy - making you feel awful for making the "wrong" choices. So now you've spent 15 EUR on options and have to spend 15 more on cards - one way or another. So the next time you are supposed to have learned your lesson and happily spend the 15 for the full pack.

I've been there. More than once in the past 6 months and I can tell you it does not make me happy at all.

I did that once, bought all the sails etc for my credits. Then VR announced that you could buy the full pack with unlimited cards. I filed a request with them and they payed back all my credits but let me keep all options. Not unlimited cards though.

I do not know much about game programming, but it will be very difficult to put an option to go back any choice of equipment? (as long as it is before the start). It should be able to be done. The climate can change from when one chooses his options until the beginning.

The free credits provided probably get in the way. There is no clear distinction between options provided on free credits, credits collected from previous races or paid in cash.

The system designer in me can see that the refund logic can become quite complicated.

I understand, I do not talk about returning money or credits, just being able to change the use of those credits, bought or won. (always before the start of the race). That is a undo in the choice of an option.

Hmmm. My timing must be off. I did not even get the credits refunded. Email said that was impossible. Oh well....

I don't really know. Just rationalizing why VR might have issues about refunds (other than being greedy and hating their customers, that is)

And they can do the same about your credit balance, but somebody has to care. With 50K players you may also have to hire someone to do it full-time (or make your developer implement the basic refund logic)

Well, think I will pull the plug on VR! A polite person responds to my emails but without substantive answers. My fault for gooning up my boat setup and trying to dodge the full pack expense. They keep telling me the full pack still shows on my boat set up; however, since spending credits for setup items that option does not show anymore. Have sent them a screen snap proving such as a last hope for helpful response from VR. Amazing! I am dumb enough to be pleading for help to spend more money on their less than great product and they seem unable to get it!!

Suggestion - let ZEZO take over for VR. The simulator was better than the rest of the game by a bunch!!!

Well! Another email from VR this time claiming I did have full pack. Logged onto the race and indeed now it looks like the free cards are present. Not sure what or how it changed from wanted credits for each waypoint, etc. But, glad to back in the race.

And, my opinion of VR has improved as a result.

Now, if I can just do better than 1209th as in last leg!!
