Hi sailors,

Never thought I will be writing here in this forum, but have you checked RORC for who will win?
A player who joined the race two days (not hours; maybe even three days) after start. Not his fault though. But he is 6-7 hours before zezo (same north route), who joined the race regularly.

I am sorry for you guys who paid something for this race. But if this is not a scam, that I do not know what it is.

Regards,
RastaSLO

Don't jump to conclusions too fast. The game has the habit of losing track segments.

And my boat has foils only, so it's natural to be 10 hours behind a full option boat on the same track.

Yes that is true what Cvetan just wrote. My boat also is missing an important part of the initial track..like 2 or 3 days..and i am just behind that boat you mentioned, and everyone know I was there since the beggining

One way or another it's another bug...not nice!

This game is full of bugs!

Did you notice an update this morning?
What could it be?
Bug fixes or new bugs to be discovered?

Oui, j'ai remarqué. Maintenant on choppe un ralentissement lors de l'activation des cartes autosail ET quand on change de voile…

Yes I did, now you get a penalty for use of cards (AS) AND a penalty for sail change…

you get a penalty for every autosail-change now. Suppose you take a fixed heading overnight that is close to a sail-change angle and the wind is shifting a few degrees all the time ...

ongoing (auto)sailchanges and ongoing speed penalties down to 50%. not funny!

During a a race happening is totally absurd..it's of bad taste to introduce alterations with people crossing line and other fighting for places. It's bennefiting the guys in front. And i'm talking against myself here.

It's something that only someone brainless would do during a race.

Unbelievable one more time.

This is going from bad to worst.

That's the problem with VR. You end up talking against yourself because if they introduce some change it happens to be to the worse most of the time.

Like when we all complained against progressive programmer cards and now the programmer is still more expensive for one or two tacks than it was before.

And now they ADVERTISE the VOR Leg 3 like "No more need to worry about cards when you get the full pack" on their FB page.

I must share a joke: When Arthur C Clark was asked what 2001 A Space Odyssey was about, he replied "When I wrote it both me and God knew - now only God knows".

I suspect with all the changes to VR only God knows how it works, despite the valiant efforts of our own Arthur "Zezo" Clark. Imagine if VR tried to explain all the nuances - 2001 indeed.

My second got stranded in waypoints around the island. Should have taken a screenshot because it was weird scene, but imagine 3 points in V configuration to round the island. Boat coming from NE. I found it at the upper left corner after apparently passing via all waypoints, pointing towards the first WP(NE) at TWA 2 or so, all waypoints showing ETA of 168 hours.
