non VR problem!
Anyone else seen or have a solution for the Zezo Android behaviour that changed for me recently?
When inputting new coordinates into a Zezo chart, my phone very usefully showed me a numeric keypad with a next button. This made entering the coords even faster than on my laptop. Since at least the start of this leg of the VOR, possibly earlier, it has changed to a phone number dial pad which has Go instead of Next. Pressing Go does exactly that, so now I have to try and position the cursor at the right of each data block -- not easy with fat fingers :0
I'm running the latest available Chrome for my phone (61.0.3163.98) on Samsung version of Android 7.1
Google searching dug up lots of programmer discussions on the complexity of handling data entry across all browsers and platforms; but this flip suggests it's something that changed. Can I change it back or does the change need to happen elsewhere?

Never thought of that. I rarely use it on my phone, and don't remember ever seeing a "next" button.

There is a magic input type="tel" hint that tells the browser to show a numeric keypad instead of regular keyboard.

A quick google search shows that replacing "tel" with "number" might work. I'll give it a try later.

Hello JohnT,
Same for me. Touching exactly the right position in the coordinates on my phone is now as frequent as having 4 nav cards in the barrel... Even more there is no "Delete" touch, only "Backspace"... "Next" was really useful...

Hello Turb,
Agreed.
Thanks for confirming that it wasn't something I did on my phone, and for making me laugh, rather than cry about the barrel :)

Tried changing "tel" to "number". Does no good on Android, and adds up-down arrows on desktop chrome. Not a solution.

Thanks fir taking the time to try. A very minor issue in the grand scheme of things :)

On a second thought I recently swapped the lat and lon inputs. I also fixed a syntax error in the html code that may have been accidental feature.

I have never seen a Next button on my Android 6 phone, so can't test myself, but please try http://zezo.org/clipperv2/chart.pl to see if that was the case.

It may be possible to replace the default action on the input fields to "focus next" but then you will have to tap the Go! button.

Hello,
No, it's not working for me. It may be a change in the last Chrome versions...
Thanks for trying ! :)

I checked with a phone that is still on an older version of Chrome (59) and of Android, and that still has the Next button; so looks like a Chrome change. If I dig up any more info I will share, but for now it looks as though we have been googled :(
