An idea: Movable lines

I know it has been discussed a function that allows to choose a point in the future and do routing from there. But here is another thought, around that same subject. Would it be possible to "move" the track lines to a point along the suggested track. Now they are available in the starting point. But let's say I could move the lines to a future point along the suggest route. I suppose that is difficult to implement, but it would be rather awesome if it was possible :-)

At least I am struggling sometimes to "smooth" out a track with 10 points for a nights programming. Instead of 10 points I rather settle with 3 programming cards if possible. I know with unlimited cards it is not a big deal perhaps. But at least I am still using up my credits and have yet to buy a the full pack/unlimited cards offer.

(Or someone make an awesome excel file where I can just put in all the points, and out comes a smoother suggestion) :-)

another idea!

I've noticed there's missing a scale reference in zezo, so you can know how many miles are you losing if you don't stricktly follow it's angles.

For example:
if I want to sleep without having 4 alarm clocks to set my angle correctly, I will choose the best average TWA. What i'm curious to know is what's the real loss between my point in the aTWA and the black dot on the rout.

A small scale reference will solve this, or at least help.

The chart is terribly off-scale, so you have to rely on the numbers for navigation.

That said, the blue lines are 1 hour apart, and the dots on the projected track are 10 minutes apart, so you can do the math knowing the boat speed.
