Hull Polish

Ahoy Skippers.

As you know, we pay for a hull polish on VR. What advantage does it give and is it possible that zezo takes into account a hull polish. Otherwise is there any point in even having a hull polish, when the cost of a hull polish can be 500 credits.

Thanks in advance ... and kick boat! No one on VR wants to be told 'fair winds'.

Further to my post above.

VR advises, "Polish" ... results in a better glide and therefore a speed gain at all speeds and in all weather conditions.

As a percentage gain of a boats current speed? Which effectively, zezo can or can't deal with?

The hull option gives you a 0.3% speed increase. Thats 1nm per day assuming an average speed of 15kn.

Zezo takes hull into account automatically when using full pack. The effect on the routing outcome is negligible, and running a new routing every 6hrs keeps it in sync anyway.
