When routing with Zezo, what do the little green/red squares on the TWA/HDG route represent?

Hello,
When Zezo offers me a routing (black line), I can superimpose a tack pace (TWA, green line) or a Cape pace (red line).
What do the small squares represent that move along these lines (green or red) as i move closer or further away from the route proposed by Zezo.
