Free Races option gone??

I have been playing VR offshore for 4 years now and used to have 2 or 3 races on the go at the same time practising for the upcoming Vendee Globe. I always used the free sail skin and used my credits for radio etc. The new version came when I turned on the game and I lost all the races I was competing in...they just disappeared but worse than that I find I can only have one boat with the free sail skin. If i try to join another race there is no option for a free sail skin you have to pay. Am i doing something wrong?
I will pay for the full pack for the vendee globe but what has happened? It seems they have ruined VR with this new update. Why does everything good ALWAYS go bad in the end!

Many bugs with the new version, hopefully fixed for the VG.
I fully agree with your final reflexion : I have played a lot with virtual regatta from VG 2016 and this was the golden age of this game up to just before VG 2020.
It was needless complicating so much this game, basically so much interesting.
This VG 2024 is probably my last Virtual Regatta race...
