I don't see anything we haven't already discussed about 100 times.

One of my users was actually introduced to sailing by the virtual clipper and then went to sail the real thing, so the ISAF idea is plausible.

But I don't see why beginner players should play a crippled game and be spared the complexity of polars and 0 kt wind - it's part of the sport after all.

For inshore players? Ha-ha-ha!!! You play Inshore VR? VSK5 - great inshore simulate game for championships. VR Inshore - shit compared to VSK.

The VSK community makes the World e-Cup, probably 10+ years. And not looking in the direction of World Sailing (ISAF). I assure you in the VSK community a lot of professional sailors. Real Champions from around the World is no less real events in the real world :)
