I saw my boat moving backwards without me doing anything about 10 minutes ago.
Boat speed and heading remained the same. I have been suspecting this before and now I saw it happening.
In the log there is no trace of this.
Would it be possible that game keepers can play with the players and even the competition out or of any other reason slow boats or keep boats not advancing?

The game UI projects the boat movement and moves the boat on your screen. However the actual boat position is computed by the game server and the UI projection isn't always correct - in particular after a tack or gybe. When the UI receives the next update from the server, it corrects the boat position.

I have had my boat sit in one place for almost 5 minutes 4 minutes and 38 seconds. I have watched my boat move backwards many times. I have thought the same thing. I have complained about it never got any kind of answer they just blew it off.
