Hello,

On leg 7 of the VOR, at location 55°14', 167°40' on March 21, 2018 ar 12h50 UTC, I see this:
* on the VR game, wind 23.4kt from 329°
* zezo, wind 20.1kt from 264°

zyGrib confirms the VR values.

Seems that the wind error growed since March 20 noon when I began to depart from TWA 140° to go up wind (zezo route give now TWA125 after going up to TWA70 in the night --- I came back to TWA 140 at that time).

Any clue?

167°40' East or 167°40' West? The switch-over is not automatic, unless you are using the extension, of course.

It should be 167°40'W of course, stupid of me.
Sorry for the noise, Cvetan.

We've all been there, at least once.

I'm using the Chrome extension myself and have forgotten about the problem, but should probably do something about it. It can't be fully automated because you may happen to sail left and right on purpose, but a warning if your latitude is decreasing eastwards from 180 would work 95% of the time.

Same thing goes for the Equator, but the direction should be race-dependent.
