Hello,
I am having trouble with the polar csv generator.
The closest frame i can find is:

{"@class":".LogEventResponse","requestId":"XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX","scriptData":{"me":{"_id":"XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX","distance":...

I cant seem to find the actual frame and when i input this, there is always a different error.
if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

A failsafe method should be this:
Look for a request message that starts with
{"@class":".LogEventRequest","eventKey":"Meta_GetPolar"
and note the requestId.

The message you want is the LogEventResponse with the same requestId.

Oh, and it seems you may need to restart the game interface to see the message. Close the browser or at least tab, and activate the plugin before you log in.

You can also search for "polar" (with the quotes)

The current version seem to fetch polars only once per race/session so you should start logging before opening any race.

Nope.
Just a CSV extractor I made alongside with my Polars Chart...

You can find it here : http://toxcct.free.fr/polars/generator.htm

First Thank you Cvetan and toxcct for this amazing job!

A little question for the foils

the log shows
{"speedRatio":1.04,"twaMin":80.0,"twaMax":160.0,"twaMerge":10.0,"twsMin":16.0,"twsMax":35.0,"twsMerge":5.0},

ok for speedratio and...
but have you an idea on what means twaMerge and twsMerge ?

The range between Min and Max (for both twa and tws parts anyway) is where the foils operate fully, adding a speed factor of 1.04 to the actual boat speed.

The the foils don't start kicking in just when the boat speed reaches 16kts for instant.
There is a progressive window below min and above max bounds into which the foils speed factor increases/decreases from 1.00 up to 1.04...

That is the "merge" part you see.

so would the value then be 10 degrees or 5 knots around the range?

for example 1.00 at 69 degrees and then growing to 1.04 over the course of 70-80 degrees twa

It's a linear interpolation. 1.0 for 70, 1.004 for 71, 1.008 for 72 and so on. Same for the wind speed.

Ok,
Thank you for this explanation.

Great. Puting a link to the CSV files in the polar chart is very good for the IT excluded like me.

Thanks a lot

Fair winds to all
Pedro.
