Has the 4 knots minimum wind speed been removed by VR? I can see spots where the wind is in the Zezo charts where the wind speed is less than 4 knots... Maybe it doesn't affect the routing???

That is in VOR-2. In the Mini-Transat-2 chart there is no wind to be found that is less than 4 knots.

Whoopsy. I've been playing with the idea of limit/no limit having a chance to win along the African coast, and have probably copied the wrong file to the wrong place.

The good news is that it's only the displayed wind. The router itself still obeys the minimum.

It's been a looooooong day today, but I'll check again tomorrow to make sure everything is in sync.

This morning I decided to see how those going down the coast were doing. I found a boat (Lucascazale) in a location that, according to every map I could look at, had 1 knot of air. I sure hope my boat will go 8.2 knots in 1 knot of air.
