When, in the first screen, I click on my name (GuestXXX) I may change my password, actual name, etc, but the alias is fixed with a green tick.

I have read somewhere that it only can be changed once in the game... but I have not done it and remain with my ugly name.

Any suggestion?

After they told me I was doing it wrong (which I wasn't) I sent them screen shots and the name I wanted to use. They changed it within 24 hrs,

For those of you (like me) who avoid facebook & twitter, there is a way through the website: if you go to the help pages, at the bottom of each FAQ there is a link that lets you email support. You should get an auto-reply immediately and then an answer in a day or two.

From memory, there is a time limitation (6 months???) before you can change the name again once you've set it (or changed it). It's to stop people changing names constantly.

It should be in the FAQs at VR.
