Hello everybody.
I believe that for now Zezo is almost ok.
Could be improved in some minor or major details. But they are details.
What for me, now, is a big drawback, is the cost navigation.
So I suggest to Cvetan to direct his best effort to this subject.

COASTAL NAVIGATION.
This could be a great improvement.

Thanks Cvetan
and thaks to all.

One more thing
The rounding stuff is driving me crazy. specially when, on upwind or downwind limits.

Thanks for your patience.

Coastal navigation would require more accurate charts. In addition, some maneuvers must take place before the 10-minute step is completed, effectively falling in the shadow zone of the router.

I know it involves some work to survey all the coastal line in the world.
But I remember there was a program to get it from the VR charts. This program was really nice but has vanished in history. :(

The problem is worse whem joining bad coastal navigacion with the rounding angles problem.

Hi Cvetan,
thanks again, even the coastal navigation is not perfect (who is?) your tool helped me a lot!!!

Hello Cvetan, many thanks for your good work. Maybe another, easier suggestion. Isn't this Leg 9 an ideal test bed to add an intermediate user waypoint in the routing? Especially since the optimizer looks only in a 90 degree sector, the routing from Lorient to Den Haag is not seeing how to round Brittany. Bye, Anton

Ah, Cvetan, I just see you have widened the sweep angle, so it now finds its way around Brittany. Thanks!

Yes, the angle is 360 for this leg. Should not be a big issue with the shorter distance/smaller area covered, but I might need to throttle it down a bit after the start.

Hi Cvetan ! Maybe it is'nt the right place to post this message, but I did'nt find any other !
If I follow the heading's information for the start of leg 9, I go straight in the rocks !!!
What's wrong ?
Thanks for your answer, we start in 4 hours ;-))

You should always follow the official charts when sailing close to the rocks, both in the game and IRL.

Right now it looks like clearing the first rocks SW of Lorient, then a straight line to Pointe de Penmarc'h, then a straight line to Pointe du raz, if you can lay it with the new winds, best upwind VMG otherwise.

I love the idea - BEST VMG!!!
my favourite, pity that my scheduler nor auto TWA can not follow it.
:(((

fair winds and see U in The Hague.

Thank you for answering Cvetan, that's what I always try to do ;-)

Hi, first thank you for this software.... it helps us a lot in our efforts to plan our route along the oceans.....
I' d like to suggest two things :
1. Add a "center the boat" button, and a "center boat and destination point" button
2. Add the possibility of showing two or more routes from selected boats, just to compare the different suggested routes for them
Thank you in advance
