Hi.

The route from Auckland to Itajai (timeshift only, no options) ends on the western side of southern america - doesn't go around cape horn. The same happens if one chooses light sails only or heavy sails only.

Full options, foils and C0 route properly around cape horn to Itajai.

Someone has to look into it ...
Thanks
Nikos

It will probably fix itself when there is enough forecast to get us closer to Itajai in the correct ocean.

You can always select Cape Horn as current destination from the right mouse menu, and then switch back to Itajai when the time comes.

Thanks for the quick reply. When I checked yesterday (with less data points of forecast), the routing was correct for all options - is there a chance that something has changed?

Also, would it be possible to place a waypoint at cape horn and thus force the router to "go the right way" without waiting for the problem to fix itself?

Thank you.

There is a waypoint at the Cape

What has changed is the forecast. Slightly better on the West coast and slightly worse on the East, or slightly worse ocean crossing that leaves less forecast time for the Atlantic.

The router is short-sighted and just plots the isochrones, then finds the point closest to the destination and backtracks from it. It does not check that the point happens to be on the other side of the continent.
