What the hell is up with those damn cards,so i need to turn them to credits? i collected so much of them,even payed for some waypoints and programmation and after all that i am forced to transfer them to credits, and its only 440 credits which is no profit to me,this is just getting ridicilous , to waste so much money for this game and when you look at it its for nothing, pathetic from VR what they are doing

Yes, the current buy-back price for cards is 5 credits, or about 1:4 sales margin.

This is so pathetic and i think i wont be participating in the 2nd leg because there is just no point,simply a waste of money...

Since 90% of the cards we receive (payed or not) are useless, if we just don't buy any and all play without cards (apart from the ones we buy with the 400 credits given) it actually means gaining credits through the useless cards from the barrel...

And the barrel refills every 8 hrs. This means that the longer it takes you to complete a race, the more cards you get, the more money you make. It is more profitable to be last than to be first.

I calculated that you can get the same points like for 30th place by waiting outside of the destination port for 5 days and checking the barrel. Some kind of consolation prize for the newbies.

Having lost 2-3hrs by being internet challenged during the gybefest, it was easy to forego my ~900th place and 'Anchor' just NE of the finish line. So now I sit slowly accumulating cards - I'm only down to 7141th right now, so I could pick up quite a few before the race ends :)
