Right now (17h30, paris), Zezo says that at 19h il will have 19.9kt of wind. So I changed my sale from LS to CO. But when I look at VR prediction, I will have in 1 or 2 hours between 17.5 or 18kt of wind. So I should keep my LS.

Who should I believe?

Or maybe VR updates only at 18h, not before?

Edit : and now Zezo predicts 17.6 (gfs.T12z+210). So maybe we I to wait the very last zezo grib?I did not remember that kind of problem in the past

You should probably trust VR (especially before 17:30 CET)

Those 20 knots come from the previous GRIB

There is always some difference between 17:00 and 19:00 (and every 6 hours thereof)

It just does not matter most of the time. But sometimes it does (with the sail selection now) or is quite visible (with 10 degree difference in the doldrums or around the center of a moving weather system)

OK thanks, now I will know that I have to follow VR. Even right now I have 0.5kt of different at my position! 17.9 at Zezo (=>LS), 18.4 at VR => C0. Of course I loose more time because of the penalties, I should have not changed

VR does interpolation between the old and new forecast for the same moment in time (19h CET) and I don't, just switch between the two at 17:30.

So up to 16:30 everything is in sync. Then a difference may start appearing. At 17:30 the difference will change somehow and the forecasts will start converging towards 19:00
