I encounter this occasionally and just try again. It usually works fine on the next attempt.

I also a couple times have made the mistake of accidentally setting my destination right next to my starting point, which produces the same result.

same here, after a couple of reloads, usually the isochrones come back

The router returns empty result if you happen to run in in the exact second or two when the new winds replace the old winds at the update times. And that happens every 10 or 20 minutes in a 2-hour window, so the chance is not very small.

Then you may need to do the route from a new position to avoid the caching of bad data.
